Here are some answers to questions students asked in class. All information was taken from the OSPI website above!
How long is the test? You will have about 150 minutes to complete the test, including about 30 minutes of instructions (so, 2 hours). The number of type of questions may vary, but expect around 35 multiple-choice or fill-in questions, and about 5-10 long answer questions. When you take the EOC and don't pass, do you re-take it until you pass? Yes and no. You have 3 chances to take it. If you do not pass all three times, then you will be signed up for the Biology Collection of Evidence class, which is an alternative route to graduation. What is a passing score? 400 out of a possible 575. How much "in class" studying will we have? We will go over content review from now until the exam, and spend the couple of days prior reviewing some possible written prompts. |
